We are running very short on subs at this time. Therefore, the following days will probably not be approved for personal days: 5/4, 5/7, & 5/8. We are absolutely out of options for the 7th and 8th. If you are going to be sick one of those days, please call me on my cell phone!
Also, bear in mind that no personal days are to be taken within the last two weeks of the school year. That begins on May 11th... if you are thinking about the 11th or any day after that, talk to me BEFORE you send the email request.
If you did not have the privilege of spending Monday evening with us at the Academic Awards & Scholarship Ceremony, it was a very nice evening of recognition for our students. We distributed 182 awards to 97 students in addition to the $82,059 in scholarship money that was distributed. Thanks to those of you that were able to attend and to those of you presenting awards. Outside of the dropped medallion by a certain English Department member, it was a perfect evening!
